The Mammoth Hot Springs site is located inside Yellowstone off a one lane highway with pullouts for slower traffic. When you get there, there is an actual little town, but all the hotels are closed because of COVID. There is a tiny grocery store. We were VERY disappointed because the Mammoth site was DRIED UP.
