A nice rare find, an Alfa Romeo 147 GTA Cup car, that raced in the one make cup with the same name in the early 2000:s, together with the Euroepan Touring Car Charmpionship and FIA GT. Apart from the road going 147 GTA, this one uses a 220 hp, inline 4 cylinder Alfa Romeo twin spark engine, basically the same engine used in the 270 hp 156 GTA S2000, but detuned to 220 hp.

Packaging a gearbox and final drive strong enough to get the 147's 184kW/300Nm to the front wheels was no cake walk. Reply G Guest #3 · Jan 18, 2012 I had a 3.0 GTV loan car while my 147 was in at Autolusso a couple of years or so ago. I wouldn't have swapped the GTA for a GTV, cup or otherwise. From a driving perspective, I found the 147 to be sharper though not noticeably better in straight line performance.
